In 2010-11 Countess Mountbatten Hospice Charity will be funding in the region of £1 million in direct support to the hospice. This funding is used towards a number of aspects including providing funding for additional staffing, the purchasing of new and improved equipment to cater for the changing needs of patients, activities for Day Care Centre patients, the upkeep of the gardens, additional training for staff and much more.

The charity is funding over £100 an hour, every hour in additional support to the hospice services. This funding is over and above that provided by the NHS.

We are wholly reliant on donations from the local community and organisations to raise this amount  to enable the support to continue.
