Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapists are part of the multidisciplinary team who work with patients to help them remain as independent as possible, with particular emphasis on being able to live at home.

Patients and carers are taught new ways of tackling tasks that are within their capability and aids are assessed and provided to enable the patients to have as much freedom and independence as their illness will allow.

The Occupational Therapists work throughout the hospice on the in-patient unit, within Day Care and in the community.
